What was the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Pilot Program (IIVCP)?
Original Program Description
When the Immigrant Investor Venture Capital Class was active, it was a Canadian Immigration pilot program aimed at the high end of business immigration, seeking potential foreign national business people of a high net worth who would make a non-guaranteed investment of $2 million (CAD) and meet minimum education and language proficiency requirements.

Provincial Immigration Programs
Some provinces in Canada, such as British Columbia (BC Provincial Nominee Program [BC-PNP]), may have instituted similar investor immigration programs through their respective Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).
An applicant must apply through a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in the province of their choosing and qualify under the Provincial Nominee requirements. It is the responsibility of each province to establish qualifications for any immigration applications they process.
Province of Quebec Entrepreneur Immigration Programs
The province of Quebec has similar investor type programs and operate separate from the Federal Government of Canada.
